Trained by the wonderful mezzo-soprano Sheila McCarthy-Cannon, Liz Madden continues that great lineage of vocal instruction and has been a Vocal Teacher for over ten years.  During that time she has taught performers of all ages and ability in various areas of music and has successfully prepared hundreds of students for performances, exams and auditions.

Your students will benefit from a highly diversified and skilled teacher and performer whose work has crossed many genres of music and styles of performance.  With six albums already to her name, Liz's experience as a working recording artist is beneficial to any performer interested in a recording career.  She uses all her skills bringing them together to benefit any young singer, improving their confidence, technique and performance. From Musical Theatre to Celtic music and from Folk to Pop, Liz covers it all! 

Liz is currently Head of Music at Westside School for the Performing Arts where she also teaches Drama along with holding a position of Course Co-ordinator of their Musical Theatre Exam Course.  Liz has also held teaching positions in Newpark Music Centre, the College of Dance, Vox Music School and MAD Performing Arts. Guest teaching includes workshops and lectures at NUI Maynooth and GPAS.

Liz holds a Licentiate Diploma in Musical Theatre and a Diploma in Music from the London College of Music, a Diploma in Acting from the Irish Board of Speech & Drama along with ITEC Diplomas in Music Therapy and Alexander Technique.
